Today my breakfast is ....
I bought yoghurt and tuna sandwich this morning. I began to do some research on the World’s Healthiest Food on the yoghurt. The yoghurt serves as a very good source of calcium, phosphorous, riboflavin-vitamin B2 and iodine. It also contains vitamin B12, pantothenic acid- vitamin B5, zinc, potassium, protein and moldbdeum. These 10 nutrients alone would make yoghurt a health-supportive food.
Yoghurt promotes a healthier immune response, as lactobacillus casei, a strain of friendly bacteria found in cultured foods like yoghurt and kefir, significantly improve the immune response and ability to fight off pneumonia.
Yoghurt significantly increases fat loss and retain more lean, muscle tissue. It may be due to the fact that calcium reduces a fat cells’ ability to store fat so cells burn more, and less is produced in the liver. Or, it may be due to the branched chain amino acids present in the diary products.

Yoghurt helps prevent and heal arthritis and protects against ulcers.
