Busy weekend plus holiday

A few days, I have a fruitful weekend including Labour Public Holiday to spend. Last Saturday, I did my housework, cleaning the toilet, mopping the floor and bathing my dogs. Then I went out late afternoon to meet Gilbert to watch late show korean movie: "You are my sunshine." This movie depicts a unruly Korean cattle herder who fell in love with a pretty Korean hostess at the KTV. Initially, that Korean girl did not really fall in love with him until she was moved by his sincerity. Finally, they got married and painful past started to haunt both of them. The husband realised that his wife actually ran away from his first husband and later on he found out that his wife was infected with HIV virus. Unable to accept these painful facts, he tried to avoid by staying out late and one day, he came home, discovering that his wife had left his house while waiting for him to come home. Feeling despaired, he went out of his house to search for his wife. And yet, his wife went missing for more than 1 year and he had not gotten over the disappearance of his wife. One day, he heard the news of his wife being held in custody at the police station for prostituting illegally. Unable to control his emotion, he made a commotion among police officers, in his trying to wrestle his wife from the policemen. Then, he tried to see her in the jail but his wife refused to see him after his mother and brother threatened her that if they discovered that the husband continued to see her in the jail, they would severe their ties with him. Out of her love for him, she had to succumb to their threat not to see him until she relented to meet him for the last time. When they met each other, they did not say anything to each other but to lock into their eyes. Finally his wife yelled at him to get out of her sight forever, and the husband could not voice out his response. When she tried to walk towards the door, the husband tried to call her but his voice was coarse and not the same as before. On hearing her husband's voice, she rushed towards the glass barricade and asked him what happened to his voice. The female prison warden tried to bring her back to the cell and the husband unfurled his uncontrollable emotion by climbing to the top of the glass barricade and broke something so that he could reach out to his wife. It was such a melodramatic scene that brought deluge of tears from many cinema goers except me and gilbert hee..

Then after watching the movie, we went off for the short tea before going home. The next day, it was a normal dragon boat training session. But in the morning, I decided to have a short swim and saw 2 cute guys suntanning by the poolside. Then I went off home to get ready for the dragon boat training.

The next day, i was late, rushing to meet Lucas as we arranged to have outdoor photography session together, taking shots of many places until 8pm. While I was taking pictures, Gilbert sms-ed me that he had kidney stones and his urine contained blood. I was so worried and enquired about his health condition as I do not have much knowledge about it.

After the photography session, I went off to Gilbert's auntie's house for dinner and he looked quite tired. He assured me that he was fine and needed to take painkillers to stop the pain. He has to take plenty of water to flush out the kidney stones.
